Albright Wrestling Room and Beer Garden

Project Overview

To support their rapidly-growing wrestling program, Albright College partnered with Burkey to convert their existing indoor pool into a state-of-the-art training center for the sport. The new space includes a glass storefront, wall and floor mats, a weight room, and updated locker rooms.

Burkey utilized stone and sealed concrete to fill in the pool so that the college would be able to reverse the changes in the future should the need arise.

Outside, a vacant patio was transformed into a vibrant beer garden, complete with string lights and updated landscaping, for various college and alumni events.
