Project Overview
These dormitory buildings were built over the course of two separate projects and added approximately 350 student beds to Alvernia's campus.
The final two buildings were constructed concurrently and made of prefabricated walls that were shipped to site and assembled. The fourth building, Holleran Hall, features a different layout than the others, accommodating up to five students per unit sharing a common living and dining space.
Throughout the course of both projects, campus operations were in full swing. Burkey's project team coordinated closely with Alvernia during the preconstruction phase to develop detailed logistics plans that would allow construction to proceed without hampering the day to day operations of students, faculty, and staff.
