Project Overview

This partnership between Alvernia University and Penn Medicine saw the transformation of the university’s former Nursing Center into a medical and counseling facility that would provide treatment and resources to students, faculty, staff, and their families. This fast-paced, hard-hitting project needed to occur over the university’s summer break period.

As a complete design-build project, Burkey worked closely with all involved stakeholders to create a design that would meet the needs of the end-users while adhering to Alvernia’s budget
