Project Overview

Reading Area Community College wanted to redesign the existing Weitz Hall to provide high-class facilities for its health sciences programs. This multi-million dollar renovation is in response to not only a local and regional need for expanded healthcare training, but a national one. Burkey is serving as the construction manager for this ongoing project.

All four floors of the existing building will be completely demo'd and renovated. When completed, the first and second floors will consist of state-of-the-art simulation labs for nursing and respiratory care and simulated patient rooms containing life-support equipment that mimics real-life scenarios. The third and fourth floors will serve as redesigned classroom spaces and phlebotomy and dental assistant labs.

“I commend your Custom Services team on their professionalism and ability to consistently provide superior service. I have never been more pleased with your contractors coming to our facility. Each person I meet from your team has always surpassed all of my expectations and I would highly recommend your services to anyone in need.”
